Jacques Boullaire (1893-1976) Illustrator of numerous works in the 1930s to 1950s, he was appointed official painter of the navy in 1959. Ink and ink wash on paper. Sign. "p.57: around the country tea table" Drawing which was used to illustrate the novel "Charlotte and Maximilien, the chimerical lovers", by Princess Bibesco, published for the first time under the pseudonym Lucile Decaux in 1937.
