Vase Bay Keramik 620-15, West Germany

This small sculptural vase from Bay Keramik likely dates from the 1970s. Its base bears the moulded reference 620-15. The rounded body extends into a four-lobed neck with gently undulating lines. Ornamental reliefs structure the ivory-coloured glaze, while smoky brown hues settle in the recesses and accentuate the shape. Depending on the angle of view, the interplay between smooth surfaces, relief patterns, and darker drips subtly transforms its appearance. Its soft and natural palette allows it to easily fit into both vintage and contemporary interiors. It can hold a flower or a small branch, but also has a beautiful decorative presence when displayed alone. In very good vintage condition, with slight marks under the base. No chips or cracks.
