A drawing representing a bird on a flowering branch, painted on thick paper (from what I guess). The lines are fine, the colors well defined, the representation a bit poetic. This drawing is framed and still in its original condition with the framer's label, and with a gilt border. A corner of the drawing is cut out. I have no explanation for that, but these flaws give it charm. This type of representation is called "japanese print", and could come from the time of the french presence in indochina, therefore in the 1950s. Dimensions of the frame: 20 x32 cm drawing 14 X 26 cm.
