Cube Floor Lamp T-267 Swiss Space Age by Carl Moor for BAG Turgi, 1960s

Rare Space Age floor lamp from the Swiss manufacturer BAG Turgi based on a design by Carl Moor from the 1960s. Marketed in the USA by Koch+Lowy under the name Helvetica. Cubic floor lamp with illuminated openings. The lamp body is made of painted sheet metal. The cube rests on finely finished feet. The opal acrylic portholes are held in place from the inside with clips and fit perfectly into the openings. A wide bevel on the inside edge of the openings creates the impression of a complete sphere inside the cube. The body is open at the bottom, creating a square carpet of light underneath.
