Please be aware that customs fees may be applicable if you buy from outside of the UK.] An antique pendant lamp in the jugendstil mode, comprising a large gallery of black lacquered hand-beaten steel with a hammered/chased decoration, a later large mouth-blown white opaline glass shade, decorative iron chains and four-hook ceiling rose, and an attractive brass stretcher bar with a repeating crocus design. The metal components were produced c.1910 in germany. The lamp has been dismantled, cleaned, and brought up to modern safety standards with a new english made solid brass earthed b22 bulb-holder and a length of premium italian 3-core cable with a vintage style golden rayon braid.
