Bistro table

This “bistro” table in white poplar and resinous (larch) has retained beautiful traces of time. For the renovation stages: Stripping, Scrubbing grits 80, 120, 180, (240 on the tray), Painting belt, feet, drawer interior, The vinyl of the drawer has been removed, the glue scraped off then sanded, inside the drawer, at the back of the handle, a large hole was filled (piece of wood added and glued + wood filler), the screws (glued) of the handle, which protruded inside the drawer, were cut, The drawer only opened half...what was necessary was done so that it slides perfectly (it is the entire width of the table), The handle was polished, Primary application for hanging on belt and feet + painting, A piece of wood was added as reinforcement under the top, The cracks in the top (through which we could see the floor) were filled with a wood filling coating, The top (and the facade of the drawer) once raw has received a “light oak” antique wax color to give character to its 2 wood species. Then, light sanding to patinate and homogenize everything + protective varnish, Some other repairs on the plate and belt. This table can also be used as an office 🤗.
