Mado jolain ceramic cup, 1950s

Small ceramic pinched bowl by artist mado jolain (1921-2019), dating from the 1950s and signed "mj" on the reverse. A french ceramicist and designer, mado jolain is renowned for her creations combining aesthetics and functionality, particularly in the 1950s and 1960s. After studying at the école des beaux-arts in paris, she collaborated with haute couture houses by creating fashion accessories. This piece, in excellent condition, is a testament to her talent and creative spirit.
