A set of four antique blown glass glasses, featuring a finely engraved decoration. The chalice is adorned with delicate engravings, alternating between stylised floral motifs and beaded friezes, arranged in horizontal registers. The engraving is not decorative in the strict sense: it accompanies the material. The ripples of the glass, visible in the light, modulate the decoration and give it a soft, almost moving presence. Each glass captures reflections differently, without rigidity or mechanical symmetry. The whole evokes elegant tableware, designed for aperitif moments: sweet wine, port, white wine, or clear liqueur. ◼ Technique: Antique blown glass. Fine wheel engraving. Handcrafted, predating the mid-20th century. ◼ Dimensions: Height: 13 cm. Diameter at the neck: 5.8 cm. Height of the chalice: 7 cm. ◼ Uses: Aperitif. Port. Sweet wine. White wine. Digestifs.
