Two woven baskets with sculptural lines, accented by graphic black bands. Halfway between a basket and a jar, they rest on the ground like true decorative objects. Their silhouette is immediately appealing: a generous base, a long narrow neck, and the weaving entirely made from natural fibres, giving each piece its small irregularities. The black bands break up the very raw aspect of the material and give them an surprisingly contemporary look. Sold as a pair, these two jars are very slightly different in shape and weaving, which adds to their charm. With a height of 56 cm, they have enough presence to dress a corner of a room, an entrance, or accompany a low piece of furniture. They can be left simply empty – that’s probably how we prefer them – or filled with a few large dried branches. Set of 2 pieces. Woven natural fibres, in natural and black colours. Handmade.
