Beautiful communication door measuring 83cm by 219.5cm (and 3.2cm thick), with a translucent glass transom, painted white on one side and pinkish white on the other, along with its completely disassembled frame, where the uprights "extend" 16cm below and 26cm above the transom frame. The top was "inserted" at ceiling level, allowing for the insertion of bricks or panels above the transom to maintain its full height, with the bottom fixed into the joists of a floor. The fact that the frames "extend" at the top and bottom allows for easy adaptation to installation on any type of flooring: parquet, underfloor heating, tiles, etc. Adaptable in dimensions to the height of its frame, a light sanding, a colour finish according to your tastes and your interior, it is ready to be installed! All from the 19th century, of Haussmannian style, moulded identically on both sides. The carpentry assembly is classic with flat panel boards, mortise and tenon joints, and dowels. Fine and elegant mouldings in the door frame, replicated on the frames. Solid and substantial carpentry, door thickness of 3.2cm, frame of 50mm, and frame with mouldings nearly 10cm thick. The moulded frame measures 100.5cm by 269cm (from the top of the painted frame to below the skirting boards). This door and its carefully disassembled frame are previously painted, not warped, the door closes properly, and despite a few rare scratches, some areas where the paint is chipped and missing putty at the transom level, visible in the photos, are in very good condition, disassembled and stored safely. We have screwed a board (unpainted) at the bottom simply to maintain squareness. One of the uprights has been neatly notched for the passage of electricity and the installation of a switch. This door comes with its lock (we do not have the key...) and its white porcelain handles. The dimensions outside of the description are those of the package!.
