I am selling an iconic desk designed by Georges Frydman for EFA in the 1950s and 1960s, a key piece of modernist French design inspired by Bauhaus and Le Corbusier. The top is made of solid wood with a black formica surface, typical of Frydman/EFA creations. The legs are made of black tubular metal, featuring a sleek and functional design. There is an integrated wooden storage unit with a drawer and gold metal handles. The key for the lock is missing. Condition: Good condition except for the legs, which have chipped black paint. The formica top is in very good condition. The drawer is functional and in good condition. Georges Frydman, a major French designer of the 20th century, founded EFA (Équipement Fonctionnel de l’Habitation) in 1954.
