4 chairs bistro Japy and Delbos early twentieth

Set of 4 japy bistro chairs. They bear the oldest known stamp of the brand (with the j rolled up) on bentwood furniture to which this large industrial firm had also devoted itself with a production site from 1910 (which will be sold in 1939 to its neighbor baumann). The model is original (not a cover of thonet, fischel or other), all wood, arc connection, palmette wood background. The chairs also bear the plaque of a parisian chair factory that obviously had to expand its range by also distributing bentwood chairs to a professional clientele. -- very good condition of the lot, structures, patina of experience full of character, authentic bistro. -- height 84 cm, seat height 47.5 cm, seat 37.5 X 38.5 cm.
