This iconic desk was designed in the 1960s by Herbert Hirche, a Bauhaus student and colleague of Mies van der Rohe, in his characteristic minimalist style. It stands out for its floating top and free-hanging drawer unit. Two flat pull-out units are also integrated beneath the top. The dark grey of the table frame and the drawer handles contrasts beautifully with the warm teak tone. The wooden parts are made from teak-veneered chipboard, whilst the drawers are made from beech wood. The frame consists of welded and painted steel tubes. All wooden surfaces have been sanded and given a matt finish. The steel tube frame and the plastic pull-outs are in good original condition. Please note that the colors in the photos may differ from the actual item for technical reasons (display on different devices). Any decorations shown are not included in the offer.
