Vintage suitcase "World Map" restored 54,5x32x17,5 cm

Completely restored, this authentic suitcase of the mid-twentieth century, fawn color in vulcanized fiber, (zinc cellulose) remains a beautiful nomadic and practical suitcase. Its upholstery resembles honeycomb-like leather. She doesn't have a key! The golden fittings as well as its saddle-stitched leather handle certainly make it look great. The interior was laid bare, then entirely upholstered with a pretty 100% cotton oeko-tex "world map" publisher fabric, representing, as its name suggests, a planisphere. We tried to respect the continuity of the patterns between the lower and upper part. This collection suitcase can be used as storage, marine, colonial, modern, vintage, contemporary interior decoration and even scenography a guest room. This suitcase experienced the first paid holidays. A taste of madeleine de proust with a vintage look: trilogy: charm, nostalgia, perfume between two wars.
