Scandinavian Wall Light in Teak and Copper by Hans Agne Jakobsson Markaryd

Mid-century modern classic Scandinavian swinging wall lamp made out of teak with the original copper lamp shade. The design is known as "Haj", made by the talented Swedish designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson for Markaryd in the 1950s. The lamp has a classic shape and the lampshade is perforated which gives a very nice light, but is also highly decorative when not in use. The wooden teak base as well as the lampshade are in a really good condition. This lamp has an elegant and modern feeling from the mid-century, but it is at the same time contemporary and will be very much a decorative piece in any interior setting.
