Sanejouand & Graves Clairefontaine plate, polychrome Tavia decoration

Rare antique plate signed Sanejouand & Graves – Clairefontaine factory (Haute-Saône), circa 1875–1890. Made of ironstone, decorated with hand-painted transfers and highlights, it features a floral pattern. A rare example in its polychrome version, as most known examples are monochrome. A collector's plate full of character, perfect displayed alone or as part of a table setting that blends antique and contemporary styles. Stamped SG with the anchor for Sanejouand & Graves, with the inscription Clairefontaine in relief. Decoration: TAVIA or Octavia (cartouche partially erased?). Diameter 24.5 cm. Beautiful vintage condition, luminous glaze, minimal signs of use, patina of age (see photos). An exceptional piece embodying both heritage chic and timeless elegance.
