Quimper earthenware cake dish

Blue, for your tables, with this pretty cake dish in quimper earthenware from the hubaudière earthenware factory (hb) And because it is always interesting to know a little more about our objects and their manufacture, here is the little history of the letters and numbers, affixed to the back of the dish...: As you might have guessed, hb quimper is the name of the earthenware factory: faïencerie de la hubaudière. The f followed by its reference number designates the shape of the dish. As for the d and its reference number, it designates the decoration of the dish. Finally, the letters pj are the references of the workshop manager and the decorator (also called painter) And you may also have noticed, the dur mark engraved on the back of the dish...! It is a distinctive mark to recognize the new earthenware of the old ones whose manufacture was different. It was affixed for a short period from 1957, and only in the earthenware factory of la hubaudière!  Size: 32x15x2.5 cm.
