Sideboard with secret hiding place

Superb sideboard with 2 doors and 2 drawers unearthed in a beautiful house in touraine. It has the particularity of having a secret hiding place: by removing the right drawer, you can slide the rosette-shaped decoration and thus access a secret trapdoor of 13x13cm over the entire depth of the furniture. We have completely cleaned and disinfected it, stripped it, treated it against possible insects, painted it in black and finally protected it with a water-based varnish. The door lock can sometimes be mounted a little capricious: the charm of vintage. The keys of the drawers act as handles. Height 113cm, width 119cm, depth 58cm.
