Antique polychrome jasper glass vase, Clichy-Legras type, Art Deco

Very beautiful antique jasper multi-layered blown glass vase, attributed to the Clichy-Legras glassworks. An item from the first third of the 20th century, probably circa 1920-1930. It has an elongated shape with an ovoid body and a slightly flared neck, composed of a colourless inner layer, with a very dense decoration of polychrome speckles in red, yellow, blue, green, and orange, and an outer colourless satin layer giving the vase a beautiful depth and a slightly frosted appearance. 23.5 cm high, 10 cm maximum diameter. Very good overall condition, with a tiny chip on the outer rim, another on the inside, as well as a few micro-chips on the edge, almost invisible. Weighs approximately 700 g.
