3rd loan of national defense. Poster designed by lieutenant jean droit of the 226th r.i., cartoonist for the newspaper "the illustration" during the great war, born on august 28, 1884 in laneuveville-devant-nancy (meurthe-et-moselle) and died on december 7, 1961 in vincennes (val-de-marne). Jean droit was the holder of the croix de guerre with palms, french and belgian, knight of the legion of honour. This poster was published in 1917 by the berger-levrault printing house in paris. Poster size: 120 X 80 cm. At the beginning of the second world war, jean droit, reserve captain, again wore the military uniform and served on the staff of general de lattre de tassigny as a topograph officer. Glued to rigid support.
