Superb handcrafted ceramic candlestick from Tamegroute, Morocco, identifiable by its deep, irregular green glaze. Sculptural silhouette and architectural lines, with a beautiful patina and the characteristic shades of this traditional pottery. A decorative piece full of character. (I bought it from an antique dealer in Marrakech, who presented it to me as an old piece, which is quite possible since I have never managed to find a similar model. We paid double the price asked today. It is a very beautiful piece, but having moved into a smaller space, I unfortunately no longer have room for it. It deserves a new home!).
