Very beautiful curved chest of drawers in Louis XV style marquetry, finely inlaid with floral motifs in precious wood. Careful work, probably made in Italy or France towards the end of the 19th or beginning of the 20th century, in the style of 18th century cabinetmakers. • Structure: solid wood and quality veneer (rosewood) • Floral marquetry in excellent condition, finely composed. • Chiseled decorative bronzes: corner falls, sabots, handles, keyholes, sculpted female figures. • Top: natural marble with pinkish beige veins, original curved shape. • Drawers: two large functional drawers with keys, clean interior. • Style: Louis XV / Transition – Napoleon III influence Furniture carefully preserved, in excellent general condition.
