Mid Century Space Age Murano Glass Sphere Ceiling Light Mazzega style, Italy, 1960s

Spectacular murano glass sphere ceiling light/pendant (italy, 1960s/1970s). Large hand blown globe from milky glass to transparent and orange/amber in the center (where the glass is shaped into 8 rays). Brass structure and drop chain with a round wooden detail. A mid century modern design classic. Well-wired and ready to use (compatible in all countries europe, uk, us, etc.). Requires 1x e27 light bulb. Total height from ceiling (can be adjusted): c. 90 cm; diameter (glass sphere): 25 cm. Very good vintage condition. Light wear as well as patina consistent with age and use on the brass elements.
