Gilded carved wooden capital, 18th century.

Small capital in solid carved wood, original gilding, 18th century. Corinthian decoration with acanthus leaves, flowers or acorns...etc. Set in good condition despite some signs of wear and tear on the wood or gilding (see photos), and fully usable as is. 2 small hooks behind allowing it to be fixed to a wall. This capital comes from the sale of various religious objects from a deconsecrated chapel, it seems to have been an element of a set (altarpiece, altar...etc) and then used alone as a support for a sculpture or statuette. Dimensions 35 X 16 X height 24 cm. Possible shipment by colissimo.
