Vintage ceiling light/suspension/fixture in glass, space age design circa 1960s/1970s. This lamp features a beautiful inverted umbrella-shaped shade. The shade is convex and triangular. It is made of clear glass adorned with a red, gold, and white printed pattern. The golden motif evokes three sun rays/"sunburst". The suspension system is made of brass (see photos). Three threaded brass fittings allow the shade to be suspended, held in place by three spherical head screws (see photo). A hook at the top allows the lamp to be hung (see photos). The lamp is in very good original and vintage condition, with some light signs of use and a natural patina on the structure, the brass suspension system, the shade, and the brass washer (see photos). The shade is intact, with no chips or cracks. The lamp has been tested and is fully functional with a B22 bayonet bulb (not included). (See photos). The photos of the lamp lit were taken with a 40-watt bulb. The shade can be unscrewed from the suspension system and will be disassembled for shipping. All photos were taken in natural light, both outdoors and indoors. Colours may therefore vary depending on lighting, reflections from the stone, viewing angle, and perspective. Maximum width and depth of the shade: 39.5 cm. Height: 17.5 cm.
