Trading counter central island walnut marble

Old trading post all in walnut surmounted by a white marble top. This counter in early 1900 has been completely restored by my cabinetmaker, the drawers have been reinforced and slide perfectly. A skirting board and a low shelf have been added to bring it perfect finishes. The furniture was completely sanded, processed and then protected with a transparent matte varnish. The drawers are topped with old shell handles, the large drawer has a brass lock inlet. The two locks on two of the drawers are no longer functional. Very beautiful details on all the furniture, paneled faces, flutes at the back in the wood, bringing to this furniture a charm and a certain authenticity. All drawers are topped with chopsticks. The walnut top, under the marble, is very beautiful. It has an original currency notch. Old marble that has possible defects, "stains", small impacts, as well as a corner that has been repaired, as evidenced by the photos. Nevertheless this is very light overall and brings the singularity of the old, this piece of furniture being very old. The marble was treated using a product adapted to marble. Due to its dimensions, this piece of furniture will be used as a counter in a shop, or as a central island in a kitchen. - Total dimensions - l 128 X d 68 X h 84 cm. Marble thickness 2 cm. Dimensions of small drawers - l 47.5 X d 46 X h 17.5 cm. Dimensions of the large drawer - l 104 X d 46 X h 17 cm. Dimensions of the low tablet - l 107, 5 X d 51, 5 X h 17 cm.
