Zoomorphic ashtray armadillo black ceramic signed

Zoomorphic ashtray depicting an armadillo rolled into a ball. Black ceramic work late twentieth early twenty-first. Unique piece bearing the signature of the artist eduardo mendoza in hollow under the base (see photos and zoom). Very nice overall condition. Note a tiny defect on an edge (see photos and zoom). The total height of the ceramic is 12.5 cm and its total width is 14 cm (when the armadillo is positioned in profile).
