Set of 3 vintage Fischel bistro chairs in bentwood. Charming set of 3 vintage bistro chairs signed "Fischel", a famous Austro-Hungarian/Austrian manufacturer specialising in bentwood furniture, here in "French manufacture" (original labels present under the 3 seats). These chairs feature a beautiful silhouette inspired by Viennese furniture of the Thonet type, with a structure entirely made of steam-bent wood, known as "bentwood", and a moulded wooden seat. Their drop or lyre-shaped backrest gives them an elegant and timeless line. Their finish combines patinated blonde wood (beech) and grey-painted details, added later, which provide them with a unique charm that blends bistro spirit, countryside, and a revisited vintage touch. Estimated dating: 1920s–1940s. The structures are stable. The seats show signs of use, visible scratches and wear, consistent with their age and history. The original yellowed paper labels “Fischel – Fabrication Française” are still present under several seats. A lovely authentic and decorative set, perfect around a kitchen table, in a dining room, or for a bistro/family home decor. Condition: good vintage/antique condition. Stable structure.
