Old lithograph, banks of the Jordan after David Roberts 20th century

Very beautiful modern lithograph, aquatint, colored in bistre, after a watercolor by david roberts (1796-1864). It was originally engraved by louis haghe (1806-1885) and edited, published by fg moon and son in london. David, roberts, painter, watercolorist, well known for his representations of life in the middle east, with village scenes and monuments. Of his travel watercolors, 248. Lithographs grouped in six volumes, describe egypt, the nubi, the holy land, syria, arabia, and were produced at the time on pierre by the famous topographer, louis haghe and his team for seven years.
