Antique black painted serpentine bachelors chest of drawers

This is a handsome reproduction antique chest which dates to the latter half of the 20th century. Made of mahogany and mixed woods this well made bachelors chest offers plenty of storage space with four graduated drawers which are finished with attractive brass drop handles. The chest is fairly compact and has a serpentine front and a pull out leaf to the top, the base is set on bracket feet. I have hand painted the chest in my own mix of black chalk based paint before waxing the finish for protection. The paintwork is solid colour and has been lightly distressed for a gently aged look, it has a smooth sheen. Condition. The chest is in solid condition with minor marks of age and use. There are some marks to the top below the painted finish. Measurements. Height- 78cms. Width- 71cms. Depth- 47.5cms. The measurements are taken at the widest points.
