Vintage work box in braided rope

Lovely vintage work basket, in braided rope with different braiding embellished with red and white threads. It is held by a small rattan rod at the top of the lid and at the bottom at the level of the feet. It rests on 4 feet also covered with rope. The interior is lined with red satin fabric, and quilted on the cover for inserting needles and other sewing objects. Its clasp is missing. Good condition.
