Rare Set of Four Scandinavian Modern Teak Dining Chairs, Denmark, 1960s. An elegant and distinctive set of four Danish modern dining chairs dating from the 1960s, featuring beautifully sculpted teak wooden frames and newly upholstered seats. These chairs are distinguished by their exceptional craftsmanship, refined proportions, and gracefully curved wooden backrests, reflecting the sophisticated design principles of mid-century Scandinavian furniture. The generously curved backrests are carefully shaped to provide comfortable support while showcasing the rich natural grain and warm golden-brown tones of the teak wood. Slender tapered legs, elegantly contoured seat rails, and beautifully integrated structural details create a light, architectural silhouette. The seats have been newly upholstered in a sophisticated textured mustard-yellow fabric with subtle golden and brown tones, providing a warm visual contrast to the darker teak frames. The combination of sculptural wooden elements, compact proportions, and understated elegance makes these chairs a versatile addition to both classic mid-century interiors and contemporary architectural spaces. Particularly attractive when viewed from behind, the chairs reveal the beautiful curvature of their backrests and the carefully balanced proportions of their wooden frames. DETAILS Origin: Denmark.
