A stunning french leather club chair, chapeau de gendarme model in caramel, with cuban cigar arms circa 1950’s. This wonderful chair is a feast for the eyes, with its rich caramel leather, classic styling, and cuban cigar arms. Having had the benefit of being reupholstered approximately 30 years ago, its condition is immaculate, and it is wonderfully comfortable. The restoration on this chair is has been carried out to the highest, artisanal standard. The leather is thick, strong, and supple and has aged enough to boast a beautiful, deep caramel patina.
