SMALL PAINTED BLACK KITCHEN SIDEBOARD

This is an attractive small vintage sideboard which dates to the late 20th century. It is a well made piece and is heavy and solid, made of mahogany and mixed woods and designed to look antique. It is fairly well sized, not particularly large, so will suit a home with limited space. The sideboard has two doors to the front which open to reveal a useful cupboard space with shelf, the doors are lockable and the key is present. The interior storage space is perfect for bottles so this would make a good drinks cupboard. Above the cupboard there are two useful storage drawers and the sideboard has decorative canted corners and small shaped bracket feet. I have hand painted this piece in my own mix of black chalk based paint. The paintwork is solid colour and the finish has been lightly distressed and then waxed for protection. Measurements. Height-88.5cms. Width-91cms. Depth-43.5cms. Condition. The sideboard is in solid structural condition with various small marks of age and use, mainly to the top. The drawer interiors are in good condition, the right hand one has some marks to the back.
