Large ancient zoomorphic vase in barbotine earthenware signed KG Lunéville (Keller & Guérin), representing a fish with an elongated silhouette, of the koi carp type. Circa 1925 - 1935. A decorative piece of considerable size, it perfectly illustrates the craftsmanship of the Lunéville earthenware factories in the production of fanciful and naturalistic ceramics from the early 20th century. In the shape of an upright fish. Mouth wide open forming the neck of the vase. Relief body depicting the scales. Curved tail forming an elegant openwork handle. Magnificent polychrome glaze with subtle gradients, bright yellow on the head and flank, shades of turquoise blue and water green on the tail, with powder pink and lilac highlights, glossy finish. Of considerable size, it is in very good condition, with superb colours and beautiful shine. Small loss of glaze at the back base and a very discreet mini glaze skip on the ventral fin. 📐 33.5 cm in height X 16.5 cm in maximum width. ✨ Very careful shipping. ✨ Professional shop. ✨ You will receive an invoice and benefit from after-sales service after each purchase. ✨ We have other listings online, feel free to take a look. 10/22.
