Jjl vallauris artistic ceramic lunch cups

Head to head composed of 2 large cups and 2 plates (to be used in saucer if necessary but rather intended for food because without notches for cups and are 17 cm in diameter) signed by the recognized duo of ceramic artists jacques and juliette laurent, (born mazaudois) whose workshop was active between 1954 and 1980 in vallauris. They formed the no less famous albert thiry. The cups are 7 cm deep and 12 cm in diameter, all the pieces are in perfect condition. Very beautiful beige / greige engobe and freely covered -note the drawing in the background of the cups- with floral motifs like so many light brushstrokes. Set painted hand with a crazy charm, which has the lightness of a watercolor while the pottery support is very massive and raw.
