Red Austrian mid-century brass and iron table lamp by J.T. Kalmar

This rare and charming Austrian brass table lamp from the mid-century was manufactured by J. T. Kalmar, Vienna in the 1950s, model style no. 1213. It features a base made of black cast iron with a push button for switching on and off, a brass shaft with nylon cord as protection, and a red lacquered, conical, adjustable shade. Newly rewired, E27 socket. The table lamp is in very good condition with minor signs of age and use and desirable brass patina. Its simple and modernist design fits perfectly into any mid-century or even modern interior. It can be used as a desk lamp as well as for side or bedside tables in your office, library, living room or bedroom.
