Baronet rosewood 2-seater sofa by Marco Zanuso for Arflex Italy 1964

Designed in 1964 by Marco Zanuso for arflex italy. This specific baronet lounge sofa features a rosewood veneered multiplex frame with separate pillows in red kvadrat tonus. The fabric has been replaced in a later stage, for the rest the sofa is in an original condition, with the original rubber based underlay. The sofa has discolouration visible between the 2 outer edges on the frame. One outer edge still has its original colour likely because it has been standing next to a wall so it hasn’t been affected by the sunlight. Other than the discolouration, the frame is in full solid condition with some minor traces of use visible. The fabric and foam are in excellent condition and so is the underlay in rubber.
