Superb (and rare) two-seater "Modell 711" sofa, designed in 1960 by Norwegian designer Fredrik A. Kayser and produced by Vatne Lenestolfabrikk. A major figure in Scandinavian design, Kayser is renowned for his clean, elegant lines that remain iconic today. This rare model is distinguished by its solid wood frame with sculpted armrests and its gently undulating seat, emblematic characteristics of the organic style of the 1960s. Unlike the "Modell 711" armchair reissued by Hjelle (priced at €3,500 each), this rare sofa version is only available as a vintage piece.
