Set of two r&a service dishes earth of iron salins of the directoire model.of the 1900s " Elegant frieze composed of vegetable garlands, knots and medici vases in a hue between navy blue and bottle green. "iron earth" is a name designating a ceramic of fine earthenware, close to porcelain, with which feldspar and kaolin mix, to make it whiter and more resistant. It appeared in france around 1770, widespread in the ceramic era, reaching its peak around 1900. Round dish: diameter 30cm/height 2.5cm. Oval flat: width 39cm/teacher 25, 5cm/ height 3cm. Total weight of both dishes 1.6kg. The dishes have some traces and coloration. Small roughnesses in the ceramic (small beige spot in the bottom of the round dish) Rare ginnings on the turn of the dishes. Ref 306/22.
