Soup plates 19th in faience of Gien

7 soup plates of the 19th early 20th. Opaque porcelain of Gien, one of the most beautiful tiles, with a dull sound of terracotta. The floréal decor is a rose bush, leaves, flowers, buttons, demi-rose on the ivory paste. Too pretty. Service in rather good condition, brilliant. These plates were not or little used, no scratches. Small cracks of enamel, thin shadows of old age, rare missing enamel on the slice : see photos. Diameter 23cm. 11 dinner plates are also available.
