Italian Hexagon Coffee Table in Cipollino Ondulato Marble 1970s

Vintage 1970s hexagon coffee table in italian cipollino ondulato marble. This very special type of marble owes its name to its characterizing multi-layer veining, which reminiscents the inner section of a "cipollino"; an onion. The marble is quarried in italy and is a natural stone with a thousand colour tones, varying from black over brown to green, with wavy lines of white, grey and even purple veins. Thanks to the unique veining, this marble gives the illusion of movement, thus effortlessly capturing the eye of the beholder and making this coffee table the perfect bold statement piece for every interior. This item is in very good (vintage) condition, with normal age-related wear and minor colour-fading/yellowing due to age and exposure to natural light, which we tried to capture in the photos as best as we could. This has also been taken into account when calculating the asking price.
