Entry mirror with glove box (keys)

Period: ca. 1880-1920. A modest but very charming old mirror with lid box. The bevelled oval mirror (old mercury glass) is in a blond wood frame and has a box of the same wood; under the box are two hooks. This item was left in its juice, apart from a good cleaning; the patina and its rustic appearance gives it all its charm. This type of mirror and box were for entry and had to house the gloves; it was in use at the turn of the previous century. Nowadays it would be super convenient to put his keys, lipstick, comb, etc. State: Good. Useable but shows its age; the original varnish has faded and aged. One of the corners of the box has a small slit at the joint, but this does not make it structurally unusable. The mirror itself has some blackish spots as is normal for an old mirror (but not too much; you can always look at yourself!) Size: See photo.
