Aubusson No. 16

The “Aubusson” series brings together a collection of frames and wall hangings made and assembled in our Parisian workshop from fragments of period Aubusson hangings and antique frames dating from the 1850s to the 1950s. Rectangular frame composed of a black molded wooden frame with a golden patina and two fragments of Aubusson tapestry representing the detail of a greenery. In good condition, the frame shows traces of time such as missing paint and the tapestry shows old traces of repair and discoloration which give it an authentic patina. It will find its place in any type of interior, alone or accompanied by other frames and will bring an antique touch to your decoration. On the back, covered with painted calico, a hook on the upper part is provided; a nail on the wall and that's it!.
