Large cache-pot in barbotine from the Onnaing pottery, "Pumpkin" model, antique, late 19th century, circa 1880-1900. Naturalistic relief decoration featuring a pumpkin, surrounded by large gourd leaves, pink flowers, and intertwined branches forming the handles and the openwork base. The interior is coated with a beautiful turquoise glaze contrasting with the green, pink, and ochre tones of the exterior decoration. A particularly decorative model representative of the naturalistic productions of Onnaing from the late 19th century. Height 22.5 cm, maximum diameter 21 cm, maximum width with handles 25 to 26 cm, minimum interior diameter 15.5 cm. Good overall condition considering its age. There is a fine and even craquelure of the glaze, both inside and outside, consistent with the piece's antiquity. Three small chips on the rim measuring 3 cm, 2.8 cm, and 1 cm, relatively discreet in presentation, slight wear of the glaze at the base, as well as a small star-shaped chip inside at the bottom, which is through but discreet and not compromising. A harmonious ensemble with a very beautiful decorative presence. Approximately 1, 500-2 kg.
