Pretty rattan bookcase style emmanuelle, vintage 70/80's. Its curves and crossed lines as well as the asymmetry between top and bottom mark its design. Beautiful work with in finish, on the perimeter, a line of rattan lace that delicately emphasizes the whole. Lower part two shelves closed by two doors; middle a shelf with lectern-style flap; upper part two narrower shelves open in the arch. Beautiful patina of protected origin and enhanced by the application of a linseed oil treatment. Very good condition, note an accident on a strand of wicker has been glued back together (see photos).
