Pair of vintage French wall sconces in bronze, Louis XV Rococo style, mid-20th century, Fontainebleau model. Exceptional pair of two-light wall sconces, made of cast bronze with a brilliant gold finish. These pieces capture the essence of the Louis XV (Rococo) style, characterised by its organic asymmetry and dynamism. The dynamic structure features interlaced acanthus leaves and floral motifs with flowing lines. The curved arms end in elegant chalice-shaped shades, accommodating candle holders that complement the classic aesthetic. The high-quality solid bronze, finely chiselled, adds texture and depth to the piece. Condition: Very good vintage condition.
