Multicolored wood and metal sewing box stand by Joos Teders for Metalux (attr.), Netherlands 1950's

This colorful sewing box stand was very likely designed by joos teders for metalux in the netherlands in the 1950's. It consists out of a black metal stand with 4 colourful rietveld style metal boxes that have black lacquered plywood lids. The boxes kan be rotated around the stand. This piece is in a poor, patinated condition, with signs of age and use, such as paint loss and rust at the inside of the boxes.  nevertheless, a very special and decorative piece from that time!.
