Solid oak top with a strong patina of use, fairly narrow format, closer to a preparation, harvest, or work table than a classic dining table, and the limited height suggests a specific use, such as a work table, dairy table, or food preparation table. Visible mortise and tenon joints on the legs. Low longitudinal stretcher typical of rural furniture. Manufactured 1890-1900.
