This vintage danish modernist monobloc stainless steel cutlery set from the 1960s is an attractive example of scandinavian retro design by dkf lundtofte, denmark. Crafted entirely from solid stainless steel, including the handles, each piece in this 31-piece set features a hanging eye at the end of the handle with a slot that fits perfectly over the rod of the wooden hanging rack. The clever storage principle of this monobloc cutlery set makes it clear that it was not designed for the drawer. Individually marked with lundtofte stainless 18/8 denmark, this set is likely designed by tias eckhoff, the principal designer for lundtofte, known for collaborating with renowned designers such as erik herløw, sigvard bernadotte, acton bjørn, and lone sachs. The set includes 6 place settings and additional pieces, totaling 31 pieces in all: 8 soup spoons measuring 188 mm. 10 dinner forks measuring 185 mm. 6 dinner knives measuring 200 mm. 7 dessert spoons measuring 144 mm. This used vintage cutlery set shows signs of wear consistent with its age and use. The wooden rack may have some spots of missing paint, which could have been repainted over the years.
